The right scissors for the job

This morning I trimmed my beard and sideburns as I do three or four times a week.
It dawned on me that I have been using the same pair of scissors for that job for a while.
They were part of a high school graduation gift. That was thirty plus years ago.
I can’t tell you how many desk shears I’ve gone through in that time. Or how many utility shears.
It’s paper that can dull scissors. These have never cut paper.
I may get another thirty years out of them.
