New product paperwork

I just bought a new WiFi laser printer. It’s replacing three old inkjet printers. And I do mean old.

After the printer was up and running, there’s this pile of paperwork and in this case an install CD that I’ll probably never use.

I have these clear plastic document pockets that fit in a standard three ring binder. I’ll put all the stuff for that one product in the pocket and put it in a binder that isn’t full yet. For this, more smaller binders work better than fewer large binders. I have one file drawer dedicated to the binders.

When I can, I download PDF files of the installation guide and user manuals. I can pop those on my iPod Touch or one of my iPads. That way I don’t have to go digging through the binders all the time.
