Calendar versus alarm

So last night I was over checking on my mother and refilling her pillbox.
After I came home, I thought "Why do you have that set as a calendar event instead of as an alarm?"
This morning when I went to change it, I found out why.
The calendar event lets me put her med list in notes.
There are no notes in the alarm.
The silly bit is that after I found that out, I remembered this wasn't the first time I forgot why.
So I am putting it here in my sloppy notebook.
