Posted on Wed - July 12, 2006 AAAAIIGGHH Palm withdrawlI've been without a working Palm since last
week. I could probably get the old one working for a few hours at a time, but I
have to question if it is worth it.
At first, it wasn't so bad, but the last couple of days I really have felt it. I don't have the shakes yet but it is only a matter of time. According to Amazon, I am supposed to get it on
the 19th. But also according to Amazon, it was in Phoenix last
night.
With luck I will get it today from DHL, or I will check the mailbox in the morning and see if they handed it off to the Postal Service. You never can tell with Amazon shipments. Still, it will take a day, and I have not yet finished cleaning up the Palm data file to transfer the information. Since I will be upgrading to DateBk6, there are several thousand formatting memos that need to be deleted. And some of the names need to be cleaned up. Of course, it will take a few hours for the Palm to charge once it gets here, and then I will probably need to reinstall Palm Desktop. |
